ICE helps Italian SMEs export opportunities overseas

ICE (Istituto nazionale per il Commercio Estero), the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, is the Italian Governement Agency that helps Italian SMEs to find and develop business and export opportunities overseas. With over 100 offices in 80 countries and a domestic network of 16 offices, ICE supports Italian SMEs activities abroad through export promotion events, up-to-date information and intelligence on international markets, trade leads and customized advice and consultancy services.

ICE’s participation at SVIAZ/EXPO COMM 2006 is realised in the framework of Special Multimedia Project “ICT & Broadcasting”, financed by the Italian Ministry of Productive Activities. This project was conceived together with the Trade Associations of Broadcasting/ICT sector and provides a set of information, operational and consulting activities to support the internationalisation of the Italian companies of these sectors.

ICE, and in particular the Capital Goods and High-Tech Division, is the operative branch of this project: at this year’s SVIAZ/EXPO COMM in Moscow, ICE’s Capital Goods and Hi-tech Division, has organized, for the first time, a “Meeting Point Italy”, where visitors will have the opportunity to meet some Italian companies belonging to the ICT & Broadcasting sector and moreover to get useful information about the Italian market.
