Triple Play For Stratos Global

21 августа 2007
Three new strategic agreements have been received by Stratos Global Corporation and will expand the company’s ability to serve customers in West Africa, Saudi Arabia and Latin America. The focus of the agreements is to serve key oil and gas markets.

Targeting West Africa is the partnership agreement between Stratos and JLP Engineering Solutions, an Angolan service company. They are based in Angola, right in the growing oil producing region of West Africa and offer customers with tailored engineering solutions in telecommunications, network, security and telephony. Their customers include heavyweights such as Bechtel and Marathon Oil Corporation.

Targeting the Saudi Arabian Market is the company’s next agreement, this one with Detecon Al Saudia Co (DETASAD). This firm is affiliated with Deutsche Telekom Group and is a leading provider of telecommunication services throughout the Middle East. Stratos will now have access to DETASAD’s teleports in Riyadh, field service providers and a truly modern network operations center. Plus, Stratos also expanded their Dubai–based business operations by relocating their office to the new Al Shatha Tower in Internet City.

In the Latin American market, Stratos is now teamed with Comsat International, the owner of domestic networks in Central America, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. Plus, Comsat also provides terrestrial and satellite links to Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Uruguay.
